What is the benefit of submitting every blog post to the Search Engines?
Most major search engines will tell you only to submit your main (index/home) page, their spiders follow all the links from that page and index them. However I my experience, the only follow and index the links from the main page and no others. This means that there are loads of blog posts that never get indexed.
By submitting your posts as you publish them, you will get more of your pages indexed, and increase you home pages PR by doing so.
I have been submitting all my blog posts individually for the last year, and I found that my individual page visits have increased dramatically since I started doing this.
What is required to install and run this plugin?
You need the following:
1. Wordpress 1.2 or later, (which must be installed on your own website with the ability to upload plugins to your blog site).
2. FTP Software (to upload the plugin).
3. A real email address to confirm search engine submissions. (I suggest opening a free email account with either google, msn, hotmail or yahoo for this purpose).

How often are the search engines updated?
We update the engines database every week (usually on a sunday evening). New engines are added and broken engines are deleted. You do not have to do anything on your part, the plugin updates automatically.
Will my email address be spammed by submitting to these engines?
No, some of them will email you a link which you will have to click on to verify your submission, others will email you a "thank you" message just to confirm your submission. I would suggest setting up a new email account, so you can easily manage your confirmation and verification emails, but this is not actually necessary unless you are posting very frequently (more than 10 a day).
Can I submit posts that I have already previously published?
Yes! just choose a post you would like to submit, log into the edit page of that post, set the post back to "draft" and save it. Then go back into that edit page again, and press the "publish" button. Detailed instructions on how to do this are given with the plugin.
